Swift Coding Program
Kicks Off
The "Everyone Can Code (EECC) Swift Coding Program" for Prince George's County mentees will teach youth fundamental coding and leadership skills. Selected youth received iPads donated by Apple from Dr. Dottie Chicquelo, First Vice President and Chair of the Education Commitee, on January 20 at the Kentland Community Center. Dr. Michele McKoy, Assistant Lead delivered the iPads to mentees who were not able to attend due to winter weather.

The Tuesday and Thursday virtual classes conducted via Zoom start on January 30 for eight weeks. At the end of the eight-week program, all mentees who complete and pass all tests will graduate during a formal ceremony sponsored by the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., national office.

Each graduating mentee may have the option to advance to the immediate Swift Coding Class.
